Nectar Health
Terms of Service
Nectar Health, Inc. (“Nectar,” “we,” or “us”) owns and operates the services and platforms that facilitate access to health-related products and services through our website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”). Your access and use of the Platform, including any products or services offered through Nectar, are governed by this Clinical Policy.
Important Notice Nectar Health provides technology-driven services to facilitate healthcare but does not engage in the practice of medicine. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In case of a medical emergency, call your healthcare provider or dial 000 immediately.
Clinical Services Overview Nectar Health connects users to various healthcare services, which include but are not limited to:
- Telehealth Services: Our platform allows users to connect with licensed healthcare professionals (“Healthcare Providers”) for consultations. These consultations may involve evaluating health biomarkers, interpreting lab results, and providing recommendations for care.
- Laboratory Testing: Users can request various laboratory tests through third-party services, including blood tests, allergy tests, genetic testing, and more. Users should be aware that these services are provided by independent laboratories and phlebotomists, not Nectar directly.
- Prescription Services: Following appropriate consultations, Healthcare Providers may issue prescriptions that can be filled through partnered pharmacies. The prescriptions are contingent upon proper evaluation and cannot be guaranteed without the necessary consultations.
- Health Data Management: Users may upload personal health data into our secure system. However, this data is not routinely reviewed by Healthcare Providers unless specifically mentioned during consultations.
Provider-Patient Relationship While our services facilitate access to Healthcare Providers, you understand that using our Platform does not establish a provider-patient relationship between you and Nectar Health. Each Healthcare Provider is responsible for their medical decisions, and Nectar does not influence or control these practices.
Limitations of Services Nectar Health does not provide urgent or emergency medical services. If you experience a medical emergency, please seek immediate assistance from your local emergency services. The services offered through our Platform are intended for general health and wellness information and support, not for emergency situations.
No Medical Advice Nectar does not offer medical advice or treatment recommendations outside of consultations with qualified Healthcare Providers. Users are encouraged to seek advice from their primary healthcare professionals regarding any medical conditions or concerns.
User Responsibilities By using our Platform, you agree to:
- Monitor and respond to communications from Healthcare Providers, as failure to do so may impact your care.
- Provide accurate and complete information about your health history and current conditions to ensure the best care possible.
- Not rely solely on information provided through our Platform for making health-related decisions.
Compliance and Regulatory Framework Nectar Health operates in compliance with applicable healthcare laws and regulations. Our services may vary based on state regulations, and we reserve the right to modify our offerings in accordance with legal requirements.
Changes to Clinical Policy This Clinical Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be communicated through the Platform, and continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to this Clinical Policy in its entirety. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, you should discontinue use of our Platform.
